  • I am licensed to practice medicine in NH and am seeking my telehealth license for FL in the near future. I am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.

  • I truly believe that my purpose, as your physician, is to be your guide, working with you to achieve your health goals. We will work together to define those goals and create a plan. Then, we will continue to work together, fine tuning and adjusting as needed. Everyone is on their own health journey and I would be honored to join you on yours.

  • One part of medicine that I thoroughly enjoy is getting to know my patient’s stories. Everyone has one, and it goes beyond their job or training or health. Read a little further if you would like to hear a bit of mine.

Although I grew up in upstate NY, in a quintessential suburban town, a friend of mine put it best after my fellowship in New Haven CT when he said “you are a country girl stuck for too long in the city!” So, I moved to Wolfeboro in 2008 where I met my wonderful husband, Tom, within 2 months of living in the area. Although we left briefly for his education, we returned to our “home” in the Lakes Region as soon as the opportunity arose!

Facts you might not know about me:

    1. I was a finance and marketing major, planning a career in international marketing until I joined the ambulance service as a dispatcher and then EMT in college and realized medicine was a lot more interesting. Oh, and I don’t like high heels and suit jackets which seemed to be an obligatory part of the finance world at that time…

    2. During residency, with my first “real” paycheck, I bought a 13 foot light touring kayak and have been drawn to the water ever since! Kayaking is the only reason to get up near dawn, in my opinion! (My husband, incorrectly, argues that dawn is actually the best time of the day…but he likes to fish.). I have kayaked on Lake Otsego, among the Thimble Islands, and of course, on numerous NH lakes and ponds!

    3. Also in residency, I learned how to make soap from scratch and every year or two, I set aside a few days to craft the soap for the coming year! It takes a minimum of 6 weeks for soap to “cure” before it is ready to be used.

    4. I am a committed environmental advocate. You will see many efforts at Winding Brook to decrease the environmental impact of medical care. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know! Although these efforts may seem small, they add up!

    5. I am a very boring cook but can whip up an incredible cookie! Fortunately, my husband is amazing in the kitchen.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me! I hope to see you in the office soon!
