Dr. Rebecca Owen, a board certified internal medicine and geriatric physician, is redefining primary care. She is taking the best from the past and combining it with the best from today. At Winding Brook, you will not find rushed visits, long wait times on phones for refills or appointments, or difficulty getting in to see us when you are not feeling well. Here is what you will find:

We provide medical care that fits your lifestyle by having:
visits in person, by telehealth or phone
same or next day visits when needed during scheduled business hours
messages by email, text, portal or phone
flexibility to work around your schedule

Your monthly membership fees cover all of Dr. Owen’s time including but not limited to:
office visits and telehealth
follow up phone calls, discussing lab results
answering your questions between visits
coordination of care with your specialists, hospital discharge managers, or emergency room providers
at your request only, communication with important people in your life about your medical care
There may be additional charges for certain supplies or special visit types. Any additional charges will be clearly outlined so you can make a decision BEFORE the charges are incurred. Examples may include but are not limited to:
lab tests drawn in office (usually less expensive than when billed through insurance)
supplies (sutures, biopsies, special single use equipment)
pathology tests
home visits

You will :
see the same physician for every visit
avoid “fragmented care” from seeing multiple providers for the same problem
establish trust that comes with a truly effective patient-physician relationship
have open conversations leading to a better understanding of your medical care

visits scheduled for 30 minutes or more as needed
visits as often as medically necessary
review of records from outside sources and integration into your plan
